Okay, why Cathy Page you say? Well a friend of mine invented it in school (they shortcut my last name), and it caught on so quickly that everyone started calling me that in the hallways (which was pretty mortifying, at first) to the point that now, even I acknowledge it. They say it as one word, by the way, cathypage (complete with this intonation). Haha. I have been called many things in my life— Cathy Santos (my friend said that when I was drunk I sounded like Jimmy Santos, the comedian), Cathy Hanson ( I was president of the Philippine chapter of the Hanson Fan Club— yes the Mmmbop band, I know, I know, it’s funny haha so what) etc etc. I don’t know why people make names for me. But this is the latest. I wonder what’s next??? haha. Cathy Page… I sound like a pin-up girl of some sort, though.
